Who else didn't expect President Trump to win in 2016?

I voted for him in 2016 and 2020. 4 years ago I was certain that Clinton would win the election and was hoping to be wrong. I was preparing to have to run every social media comment I would make by the Command Judge Advocate before posting knowing how much of a vindictive twat Clinton is.

I must have been laughing for 3 days straight when President Trump won.

No matter the outcome of this election, my retirement certificate will never read President Hilary Clinton.

I voted for him but thought he had no shot against the Clinton machine.

I voted for him, and expected to be in bed early that night.....at about 2:30 a.m. I woke my wife up from a deep sleep just to tell her The Donald had pulled of a miracle.

I didn’t think he had a chance in 2016. As the night went in and he started winning more states I started to get excited. Hopefully this year plays out the same way. The media is acting line he is going to get killed. I have more confidence he wins this years.

Me

I paid no attention to the campaign, presuming Hillary would waltz into the White House. And if she had not run the worst campaign of my lifetime, she would have.

Once he got the nomination and I started seeing the enthusiasm and packed out arenas I had no doubt he’d win.

He has more supporters now than he had then

I didn't think he had a chance in hell. What a surprise that was!

Honestly, woke up the next morning and heard he won and literally thought "Wait, he won?"

I was in the process of buying a new truck, hungover as shite, after spending the week in Minneapolis. I had to drive back to Corpus from Houston and I didn't even want to turn the radio to coverage because I didn't want to hear Clinton win. That was until I got a phone call that Trump was winning. I ended up staying up until 2AM watching all the coverage.

Thought Killary would win but held out hope for the Donald. When he got Florida it was game on. Didn’t go to bed until 3:30 am. I was pumped

That was one of two surprises that election night.

Getting laid was the other.

I thought he was losing for sure. I had a $20 bet he’d win Michigan against a lib buddy of mine. I thought that was the best I could hope for
