I didn’t watch this game. Can someone explain what happened
The Falcons were down by 14-16 and could have taken a knee, let the clock run down, kick a FG to win the game. Detroit let Gurly run up the gut and Gurly tried to stop himself before he scored a TD but just barely crossed the line. Atl then converts the 2 point lay to go up by 6.

Detroit gets the ball back with just over a minute left and no time out, goes 75 yds down the field (on some incredible throws by Stafford) and scores a TD on the last play of the game, kicks the extra point to win.

Another Classic Atl Failure.

Sad part is if Atlanta had just played defense, they would have won.

Reminds me of a few years ago when Brossette intentionally slid to kneel for the win instead of taking the TD. Mouth breathers on the rant couldn't comprehend why he'd possibly do that and were yelling "YA ALWAYS TAKE DA POINTS AND PLAY DEFENSE!"
