WAY more reliable. WAY better responsiveness. Better for control. WAY more enjoyable.


Hydraulically assisted steering is light years better than modern, electric, ones that come with lane assist.

Naturally aspirated engines...

For a skilled driver, maybe. For the vast majority of drivers, I think an automatic will be more reliable.

Is this an objective advantage? How do you measure? Do you account for engine programming?

Again, objective advantage? What, exactly, are you controlling besides the actual shifting of gears, and why is driver control of that an advantage? Depends on driver skill.
