Oh, and I know it wasn’t a CA, and it was straightforward, but I hope you fricks voted yes on Sports Gambling.
I gave up betting like 12 years ago, won’t step foot in a casino.
But if we are going to have casinos, why let the tax money leave to bet in MS? It’s beyond stupid!!

I have the same argument against this as I have against legalizing weed for the tax revenue.
All those dollars will end up going to clothe, feed, and house the people who can't control themselves and lose everything betting on games for children.
And you may say that they do that already, but there are a lot of people who don't smoke weed or gamble because it's illegal, and that may be keeping them from destryoing their lives and us subsidizing them for the rest of it.
I could be swayed if there were stipulations that no welfare money could be used for either, and that you have to apply for a license and show steady income to participate. At least then we wouldn't be attracting homeless and helpless to flood our already pitiful state.
