He forgot Kim and Xi's name even though he mentioned him like two minutes before. So he had to use thugs to get out of a jam. Dude can't remember what happened two minutes ago.

Yeah, can't say I agree with this crap coming from a career politician.

Sometimes, there are countries run in ways we don't approve of. Sometimes they're downright despicable.

But I don't want to get back into the 'nation-building' crap we did in the past. North Korea is a frickhead country. We can either come to some form of diplomacy and use the carrot to get them to behave (what Trump did), or we can decide to antagonize them to the point that we end up going to war with them.

I can guarantee, if Biden wins there will be zero cooperation from Kim during his administration, and China will be standing behind him protecting them from us.

I don't think Trump's point was taken well enough- there are 20-30 million in Seoul that are safer today, than they were 4 years ago.

Edited to add-

"DIPLOMACY". I fricking yelled that at the TV at one point. That was when Biden was bitching about Trump talking "thugs" and "our enemies", and "treating our friends bad".

Trump's big blast on our "friends" was making other NATO members pay their fair share for defense. This was at a time when our economy was reeling, and Europe has had some booms. It's now 75 yrs after WW2, and about 30 give or take after the end of the Cold War. It's about time for Europe to take some responsibility for their own protection, especially now that there's not quite so defined an enemy that only the US could face off against.

And I don't think the Brits are going to start a war with us over something. On the other hand, we COULD get into a war with North Korea, and that could bring China in. So, the responsible thing is diplomacy. Joe sounded like he wanted to restart the Cold War.
