I think Sasol invested a lot into Lake Charles...

But a car plant is also labor intensive and comparatively low emissions. It would be ideal for non-coastal Louisiana cities like Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Shreveport, Monroe, Hammond, etc.

They did along with others. LC has been the shining bright spot in LA as far as economics go for 3 or 4 years now atleast.

Hurricane put a damper on that, we will see how we recover.

But overall LC shouldnt be the only area of the state doing well and receiving investment.
