WTF is $500/month supposed to do? Is this their idea of upward mobility? Libtard, feel-good, policy that will have little to no positive impact on those it’s supposed to help.

They are trying to provide data on what people use the money for as fuel against the "They are just going to use it for drugs and alcohol". But these small tests really don't provide useful data on the macro level impact of a UBI.

If someone takes their extra money and blows it all at the bar every month - that is fine from the macro intent as you want people to spend the money so it circulates in the economy.
