Kind of want a relaxing get away, and I’ve narrowed it down to the Grand Hotel in Fairhope and the Renaissance in Birmingham.

Wondering if anyone has played at either of Lakewood courses or Ross Bridge and if so which is better?

Leaning towards going to Birmingham since its a little cheaper and the weather will be more fall like

You should go to Pursell Farms in Sylacauga if you are just planning to hangout and play golf. Might be a little more than you are looking to spend though.

Ross Bridge is fantastic. Played there twice & will play there whenever I get the chance. Absolutely first class.

Then I would go to Ross Bridge. The golf course there is better than the Lakewood courses.

Can't go wrong with Ross Bridge. Could also venture out and play Farm Links or Bent Brook while you're in the area.

Both are fun towns. Birmingham may give you more golf options. The highlands is a cool course since it’s pretty much downtown. It’s pretty cool how they fit a golf course there.

Both of the courses at Lakewood are in excellent shape right now.

Strap up and play Roebuck where Bobby Jones won the Southern Open.

Bring Kevlar and extra ammo.

Over watch is recommended.
