Ugh...I'm neither depraved nor hate god. I don't think any gods exist, so I obviously don't hate any of them.

As I constantly say, stop getting religion intertwined with politics. I'm firmly on the right and always have been, and I'm also an atheist. But if I have to be on Team Jesus or else I'm a fricking Commie, I'll have to start sitting things out.

I get that the majority of outspoken atheists are also on the left and they're douches about it, but understand what makes them a douche IS NOT their lack of belief in god, it's that they're likely an a-hole to begin with.

On this board alone you've got more than a few right leaning atheists...why go out of your way to alienate them? why not recognize that we have a difference of opinion about this, and yet agree on many if not most other things and go with that?
