1. Range in city/suburbs is rough. Home WiFi interferes with connection between controller and mini.

2. Even in the country, you will be hard pressed to clear 1 mile under 400 feet. Actual line of sight is a factor in connection.

3. The YouTube videos you see are people that are reallly stretching the capabilities with no regard to possibly losing the drone that was given to them. I am a somewhat seasoned flier and I would not put my drones in a lot of the situations that I see on YouTube.

4. The videos on YouTube are often done in perfect flying conditions. That one guy flies in Hawaii from the slope of a mountain and has perfect descending line of site for miles. That is the ideal condition for max range.

5. The best I have gotten out of my mini is just a little over a mile in the country but I admit, it was out of LOS and **cough** exactly 400’ high. In my defense, it was over my woods so if it crashed, it would be on my property with nobody at risk.
