We were on the way to the inlaws a few years ago and I stopped for gas maybe 30 miles from their house. I set a case of Miller Lite on the counter and they told me I couldn't buy it on a Sunday. I thought they were joking.

Between Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and Florida I cant keep up with all their different laws. As far a Louisiana I don’t really spend too much time in dry parishes but doesn’t Baron Rouge have some sort of law where they don’t sell beer or wine until 12 noon on Sundays?

Nah. We got rid of that years ago. You can buy alcohol of any type anytime or day other than from 2-6am.

Baton Rouge people are more like Mississippian folks than real Louisianians. Protestant British isle heritage that got to the area via crossing the Appalachians.
