How is your QB looking at practice so far? Just wondering. I havent seen too much written in any articles about the situation being a question mark, so I assumed he did pretty well in the spring....

4 or 5 page article on him in ESPN Mag this month. According to my girlie its a pretty good article. I haven't read it yet, but since she shares his last name I pointed it out to her and she read it.

Heard he's doin good, ESPN ran a special on him today. He's dedicating his season to his Mexican heritage or some shite.

From what I've heard, very good. ANd Pete all but said he puts JDB to shame. Course that ain't saying much. Better pure passer and pretty mobile. More of a leader than JDB--more the likes of Leinart in terms of leadership. Team really rallies around him. But all it'll take is one slip up.

Sanchez and Mustain were both playing well during the Spring. Sanchez was the obvious leader out of the two, was making fewer mistakes, and had been in the system longer which is why Carroll named him the started. Fall practice opened today so it should be an interesting few weeks to see how Sanchez plays

it will be interesting to see who comes out with the starting job...i think ASU over USC because i think its gonna be rudy carpenters year.

Obviously a USC quarterback is probably tearing it up right now. However, he might go through so early tests because of the younger guys and not having a veteran offensive line. I'm sure the team will be fine though.

USC completely dominated ASU up front last year, and their o-line should be even worse...I think a mediocre team on the road like at Arizona or Oregon St. could bite SC again, like the past few years. SC is a bit overrated IMO. 2009 should be our year

I hate to be the bearer of bad news to some of you, but Arizona St. will not win the Pac 10 over USC this season.

Sanchez has diffuclty under pressure. He has experience, but has thrown about as many picks as TD's. They didn't have much of a receiving corps last year, the passing game should be their achilles IMO.

Dont know that SC is over-rated, but i think we aren't going to have the season that our fans want until Lee is in his second or so year as the starter...Maybe he will develop like stafford at UGA did.
