People are acting like Harden is the only option for getting better, ever.
There are stars available almost every offseason. You just have to have the assets to get them. We have assets for the forseeable future.
Harden is a great player. Elite. We’d win a shitload of regular season games.
He’s also someone whose game I deeply hate and wouldn’t enjoy watching. This is again, for entertainment.
I fully recognize the cognitive dissonance needed to say “this player will make the team I route for win games and I don’t want him”. Totally recognize it. Still don’t want him.

My biggest fear would be him stunting Zion's growth into the alpha we need him to be. Harden would come in and immediately be the #1 option. He also probably makes you win enough that you don't break things up and trade him if a better fitting (with Zion/Ingram) star becomes available.
Trading for Harden wouldn't be terrible, especially if all it cost was Jrue/Lonzo, but it seems like a short term payoff with a high floor rather than a long term payoff with a high ceiling.
