Got mine at 11 and it is still a killing machine. I am working up some loads using Barnes ttsx 80 grain projectiles at the moment. Going to copper rounds in all our rifles this year. Biggest thing is finding a rifle they aren’t scared to shoot. Less flinching will yield better shot placement

Anyone who says a .243 with 100 gr Remington Core Lokt won't drop a white tail dead in its tracks is ignorant.

If a person can't get a good shot on a deer, then don't take the shot. With any rifle.
