Wait do you think I am asking you to tell me where you hunt so I can hunt there? lol I was asking because I wasn't aware that area even had good duck hunting. I lived in Shreveport for years and everyone I know up there all typically go to Monroe and the Tensas region to hunt or down to Catahoula Lake. We still kill a lot of birds on CatLake, at least prior to the dam opening and excess rain bringing way too much water, and due to having multiple blinds and being able to scout it out and pick the best for the next day, but there are the surrounding smaller lakes and ponds that many not from the area don't know about. I was speaking on people seeing less largely due to overhunting from people that aren't from the area coming and putting up floating blinds 50 yards away from local's blinds.

A lot of folks still Hunt the Red River and the Refuge. We hunt off the Red on the AR/LA line in a few spots. We had a great first split and then it got really tough with too much water and warmer temperatures. I haven’t heard too much about Toledo Bend lately so I don’t know what’s happening out there.
