Cuz he is very Cowherd-ish with his "I'm right and everyone else is an idiot" schtick.

I actually enjoy his show but his arrogance is such a turn off at times.

A particular thing he does that bothers the frick out meis to follow up an answer that his interviewee is giving with telling them that he understood whatever obscure reference that they made and that it will go over like 75% of the audiences heads. Even if that reference had little to do with the overall point, he has to make sure the interviewee and the audience knows how smart he is.

It's brutal when he tries to riff with people. Completely derails the segment and gets awkward. Bad radio.

This. I generally agree with most of his takes, and think he does a great job of preparation. I’ll also say that his Covid takes/rants on Cleo Fields, LaToya, and other Covid “chicken Little’s” have been spot on.

That said, his arrogance and over the top reactions to dumb shite is irritating. He is such a try hard when interviewing big name guests, and his bro schtick with guests and theriot where he tries to be funny is so cringy. I would listen to him a lot more if he just stuck to his usual takes and didn’t try so hard. I’ll tune into whiskey and wine and even the morning scone stuff at times and he’s usually pretty good on those. He is a lot more laid back and reasonable and doesn’t try too hard to be the arrogant arse who knows more than everyone else.

He always thinks his "opinions" are informed and the callers opinions are all bogus. He's the ' I am the smartest guy" attitude . He acts very childish when somone calls him out about a mistake .
