That's Savannah, Augusta, and Athens. Add Muscogee (Columbus) and Bibb (Macon) to that list.

Basically, the cities go blue and everywhere outside them is deep red.

There are also a bunch of rural counties in central/south GA that usually go blue due to a higher % of AA population.

They’re specific counties in those MSAs. Oconee didn’t go blue, neither did Columbia, Burke or McDuffie. Chatham went blue, but not Effingham or Bryan.

Outside of Atlanta’s MSA, the bedroom communities don’t typically go blue.
