I can see that side of the coin.

But it’s not like these players play the same number of years or games each season anyway. They’re all taking varying amounts of off days.

If you play the maximum number of playoff games, it’s 20 games. It’s 20 games against good competition too. You’re not letting some shite reliever come up from Triple A to eat innings.
