You guys want pics of the back of the headstock ... if it's a gun metal blue '89 American Standard as it has been identified and as it appears to be, the SN I'm almost positive will be on the FRONT of the headstock. Silver non-spaghetti logo I seem to recall.
Insider tip from a guy who plays Strats of all eras frequently ... that era of AMSTs absolutely kick arse. I had a maple board gun metal blue '87 I think it was. The stock pickups are incredibly balanced tonally, unharsh and are horridly underrated. I'd take them over Texas Specials in a heartbeat, no hesitation whatsoever.
