Anyone else see the original back in the 70's?
I know it's kinda of lame by today's standards but, "the scene by the pond" still makes me cringe.

Saw it a few months ago for the first time. Keep repeating to yourself "it's only a movie".

Youtube has a documentary with Wes Craven and another guy about this movie. There was a point during filming that even THEY were speechless.

Not by today's standards. But back inthe 70's it was pretty contraversial. The whole "banned in 27 countries" thing was kind of silly.
