Orgeron did an exceptional job with everything in 2019 that he didn't even think to have a backup plan in case Pelini was garbage. There were no negotiations and he fell into the typical LSU fan thought process of Ed can do whatever he wants because 2019 was so great. Bama fans don't even do that with Nick Saban.
