How far of a drive to the beach? Is there alot of hiking/outdoor trails near? Property taxes high? Low crime?

3 hrs 15 minutes to Folly Beach. Longer to the Horry and Georgetown County beaches because there's no interstate.

Better beaches in NC and GA. 4 hours to Myrtle Beach.

Yes, and Western NC is just a short ride away. I have spent a huge part of my like in Pisgah Natl Forest.

Certainly reasonable. The millage is similar for our house in Spartanburg to our house in LA.

In general fairly low but that depends on where you are located.

Pretty bad drive to almost all of the SC coast from anywhere....no interstates except to Charleston.


Greenvile seems like it'd be a good small town. Supposed to be booming economically. Close enough to Atlanta and Charlotte if your bent that way
