The most impressive drive for us was Trail Ridge Road where you go up over 13,000 feet. Impressive.
However, it seems to be closed as of yesterday due to wintry storm conditions. Colorado Gazette article
Our favorite day hike was to Mills lake. About six miles roundtrip. The payoff at the lake is spectacular. Not sure how the storms are affecting this hike, though.
