None of my local shops carry mizuno but thinking about going to Chicago to hit them.
Also would be interested how they compare to p770 and p790

I have the 919 and have had 2 sets of jpx pro iron sets before. You will love the irons

Hit them the other day while getting my grips redone on my clubs
Best irons on the market

Hit a friends new hot metals yesterday and they were incredible.
Address, feel, everything was great.
I bet the forged are even better, just obviously slight less forgiving with a bit less distance but also apparently improved this year.
As others have said, best thats out there. Haven't met a single person that doesn't like them or golf pro/salesmen that doesn't basically say the same.

Mizuno just better forgings than TM, just my opinion, not trying to piss of TM loyalists.
The 919s felt great last year.
I hope to try out the 921s next week because I want to build a second set of clubs and I want them to be cavity back forged iron.
It will be between them and the Sub70 irons.

If you want forged cavity backs you should be looking at Srixon and Mizuno. IMHO Srixon has the best forging of the big name brands. Forged by Endo.

I hit some 785's and they didn't feel much different from my 850 forged. Both felt great.

Have also heard great things about the Srixons.
I think it will be between them and the Mizunos come spring.

Hit them and the hot metal pros. I went with the pros because they’re a tad more forgiving. Also hit p790’s and think the Mizunos are better. Hot metal pros are also cheaper which is nice

My 921 Forged 4-PW come in on Wednesday. I hit them at my local golf shop and could instantly tell they were superior. Can't wait!

I’m thinking about getting the 921 forged 4&3 iron and 921 tour pw-4. The forged 4 is 3 degrees stronger than the tour 4, so it will basically act as a 2 & 3 iron in my bag.
Upgrading from the Mizuno mp32s(15 years old)

I’ve got 6 thru pw 921 Forged, 4&5 in Hot metal pro each bent 1.5 weak

Damn this is the exact setup I was thinking. Were you able to try that whole set or did you go blind into that weak bend? I emailed LA’s mizuno rep and he said they have had trouble getting demo sets out to dealers since fulfilling custom orders

Those 921's with the black KBS Shafte are great looking.
I am going to hit them on Thursday.

Where? Where are you going to hit them? Where is the demo set?

A buddy of mine got a set PUD.
We are the same specs, so we are going to spend some time on the range before playing.

I had the chance to hit both the Forged and the Hot Metal Pro. They virtually look the same except the HMP’s have a little more arse in the back. Anything I’m trying to hit 200 yards or more I just wanted a little more forgiveness. When I hit the Forged 6 iron and the HMP 6 iron, the HMP was about 7 yards longer. So I just adjusted the lofts accordingly. 6 thru Pw are 4 or 5 degrees apart, the HMP is only 2.5 to 3 degrees different from the 6 iron because they are so long. They feel great tho and BOTH iron model launch much higher than I anticipated. So to have that 4 and 5 HMP’s launch high and land soft on long par 3s and into par 5’s is nice
