I think there's a theory out there that millions upon millions upon who the hell knows years ago there was humankind very much similar to ours now in terms of technological capabilities and human evolution. And the bastards killed themselves off completely with nuclear war. It might even be something like humankind like this has been wiped out and restarted many times. Or something like that, hell I don't know. Looks good on paper

This is one I've given a lot of thought to. One such story I've heard is that it has actually happened 4 times in the past. But each time there has been a small segment of the population survive by moving off planet.

The biggest problem I think we have faced in all of this is that the establishment knows we have access to "otherworldly" technology, but due to the disruptance this would cause to the current global order these technologies are scrapped. Or at least kept under wraps. The same thing happened with Tesla when he was pushing for his wireless electric grid. It would have been free energy. JP Morgan shot that down by saying, "I can't put a meter on free" and that was the end of it.

So back to the breakaway civilization idea is that each time humanity progresses to a certain level, this choice has to be made. What are you gonna do with this technology you have acquired? Will you use it for humanity's benefit, or keep it under wraps. Each time leaders decide to keep it under wraps, there eventually becomes a group of people who simply move off planet. And we have one such group now. The team was formed by a coalition of six Nations. Scientist types mostly. And these folks come back once per decade and plea with the leaders to release the tech, but they keep getting shot down.

Or so the story goes. And if there's any truth in that particular story, it looks like they may have found a willing leader in Trump.

I'm reminded of something Trump allegedly said right after being elected. "I may not survive this first week, but if I do everyone is going to win." Those are interesting words. In order for everyone to win I think you're basically saying you're going to do something paradigm altering.

He also once said, "when you get right down to it, the technology is the real reason why I'm here."
