PS5 backwards compatibility (4,000+ titles)

99% of PS4 games will play on PS5. The list of PS4-only titles are basically games no one cares about. Physical PS4 disks work fine. If you bought games digitally from PS Store, they’ll transfer to PS5.

VR will work, but you’ll need to bring your PS4 camera, move controllers or DS4 controllers. PS5 HD camera is not compatible.
Enhancements and general game improvements vary by game. These are based on the respective developers.

Any word on stores offering trade-in deals? When I decided to upgrade from base to a Pro, Best Buy had a good trade deal.

PS4 OG 500GB model - $100
PS4 Slim 500GB - $130
PS4 Pro 1TB - $175
PS4 Pro Slim - $140
I’d ditch it. I have a OG PS4 that I’m trading in. Keeping my Pro because I customized it (took it apart, cleaned it, decal’d and painted plus put a SSD in it). It’ll go on my shelf of loved consoles
ETA: Saw an article saying GS will give $200 for PS4 Pro or XOX, but I pulled those values directly from their website. Don’t know for sure which is more accurate. Check with your local store.

I have the PS4 slim and at $130 I think I will try to find another use for it.
