Trump has forever changed politics in America.

I have nothing really in common with any significant national politician. I loath individuals who are millionaires based almost entirely on holding political office for decades, and I have family members in that category.

I will never have a conversation with President Trump just like I'll never have a conversation with former VP Biden.
They have both done things in their past that are morally suspect, picking and choosing the one that triggers you is intellectually dishonest or perhaps fits your preconceived opinion, after all, confirmation bias is hard fight against.

In the end, choose the policies, loose the emotion, fight the confirmation bias, seek facts and not emotional shelter.
