They all do the same pretty much on ice retention. It is the handles, hinges, feet and other crap that breaks on em.

This. I don't need a cooler that keeps ice for a month, but I do need a cooler that the handle doesn't explode when I pick it up, the hinges aren't plastic flaps, I can stand on it, etc etc.

I wish somebody would make a rotomolded cooler with half the insulation (or less if practical) but all the construction details. The stupid things are heavy before you put a single ice cube in them.
