Have thought about it for later in life. I have stepkids, so that's a minimum for about 8 more years that we have to stay close to their dad. But then I think again. I move, my parents are getting old and no one to go and see about them. I'm an only child. My mom already lives about 3 hours from me and if/when she gets bad off, that's a challenge enough to see about her. I love my small town life. I love my culture as well. There is no place in this country that has the same feel as Cajun country. I love it and can't imagine being in another state.

Well no, but there are a lot of areas around the country that do have their own unique feel the same way that SWLA does.
