OK, 100% refuse to accept she had any culpability whatsoever is his mental state, no matter how horrific his actions you cannot completely discount this factor. This isn't mutually exclusive with him being a murderer.

Ok, I won't.

Because he was a grown arse man who could've divorced her and not killed his kids. That's 100% on him. He could've easily removed himself from the situation and went to therapy to deal with the mental health issues involved in that.

But are we also going to ignore he was of sound enough mind to have a girl on the side that he lied and said they were separated and at the end of a divorce? She drives him to the point of murdering her and the kids but he's still of sound enough mind to come up with that?
