Why doesn't Tahj Jones have LSU has one of his choices?

I would still rather keep top La. talent at LSU to keep them going to Bama and giving them the opportunity to say Saban stole one from us.I think Jones is one like this.

Do we pass on superior talent just to shut the bammers up? I'll pass on that. When we beat them on the field, the next recruiting class will be thinking about that, and not that a La kid went there to play. Relax, we are LSU.

Bama has not offered Jones. Even if they had, I would rather have the other guys on our board, in state or not.

Tahj does have LSU as one of his choices and it is his top choice,also he has an offer straight from Les and Bradly Dale.He tried to commit right there,but on advice from his academic advisor Les did not accept it.Tahj's advisor was hoping to use that as an incentive to get his work done that he needed.The report I am getting is that he has been successful in the class he needed,just waiting on the ACT.Also,to let you all know he is the second highest rated linebacker on Bradly Dales list.This is straight from the horses mouth.He has offers from OLE MISS,ARKANSAS,MINNESOTA,S. MISS;TEX A&M AND FLORIDA just entered the picture.

No offense man but that logic is gumpish. You expect LSU us to pass on better players just so we can keep Sabin from coming in here and taking some lower rated players? Why focus on Bama? I'll happily let ANY school come in here and take whomever they want as long as LSU continues to sign better players. We recruit who LSU wants, not who we think Bama might want.
This is a no brainer. You seem blinded by your Bama obsession. Let it go.
