Serious question. Does the guy really talk/act like that outside of his radio show? I know a lot of people hate him, but he is pretty damn entertaining. Is he really like that or is he just putting on an act?

His voice is about the same... I'm sure it's mostly a radio act, though.
If he was like that IRL his bosses would have canned his arse long ago.

if you listen to his show alot and you've heard him do other voices, you'll come to the same conclussion i have that he REALLY exaggerates it to make his voice stand out.
I'm not saying it is intentional, persay, as just something he kind went with. I've heard he's gotten worse with his NOLA slur over the years.
Whenever he does impressions of other people he talks almost fine, so obviously he has the abilility to speak well.
And, yes, despite what people say here his show is (most of the time) quite entertaining. Mescona really has brought alot to that station IMO. He teams well with wacky personalities.

people here hate him.....partly because of his obnoxious behavior at times, but mostly because of his disdain for this site and what it stands for. (which he has a point with.....i wouldn't mind there being accountability for what ppl here say instead of coming up with user names like "Santa Claus")

Oh, and you have to keep in mind that 1210 rivals 1300, the channel Tigerdroppings.com Radio is on. Therefore, 1210 apparently sucks.

Personally I don't care if he hates tigerdroppings. Some people on td.com are morons, but 99% aren't nearly as stupid as him.

No, I have met Condon several times and he is a first class guy. I ran into him last year in Starkville before the State game. Him and his son walked right past where we were parked and we starting bullshitting with them. I called a buddy of mine, and handed the phone to RC, he turned his act on like it was light switch.

I listen to him on my ride home from work. From what I gather he goes straight to his show from another job so I assume his shows are not well prepared for (compared to guys who have all day to get their stuff together). He does a great job coming in and doing a radio show, you will not got all sports but lets be honest, sometimes its a good thing because he doesnt beat the same topic into the ground. He is entertaining and that Matt guy seems to work well with him because last week the show was not as good when Matt was not there. Now matter what, I listen because its entertaining. The more worked up he gets the more entertaining it is.

will have to say that I think Condon is mostly full of shite on most of what he says. He really is not as ignorant and obivious as he says he is.
FWIW I have interacted with the guy on several occasions and he is a super nice guy. 99.9% of what he says is simply to get a rise out of people. he is like a poor man's jim rome

i would rather listen to condon than the rant. talk about using a radio voice look at karma. he repeats himself constantly.
