I was at a restaurant having lunch. They had about 5 TVs and when word got out that they were about to announce the verdict they turned the volume up on them so we could hear.
The whole place got quiet when the announcement came in and then the whole place couldn’t believe what we just heard. Everyone basically had a “can you believe how stupid those jurors are” conversation going on at their table.

What you didn’t know back then, and as even said aloud by jurors was that they never were going to convict OJ anyway.. as “payback” for Rodney king
