Snoop and LSU...

I've been reading this board somewhat frequently and seen mentions of some sort of fight/disagreement/something between Snoop and Miles, I believe. Could someone just give a brief summary of what that's about? Thanks.

Snoop had a concert in BR and he showed up at a Rotary Club meeting the next day with Miles.

There was never really much of an issue between Snoop and Miles. Snoop is a big SC fan, and made a lot of noise about the '03 Championship which put him on the bad side of a lot of LSU fans. Then when Miles made his SC/Pac 10 comment last year, Snoop apparently had some sort of response in an interview or concert or something. I think he said something like, "win your own conference first before you start taking shots at another conference."

It was all good. Snoopy wore an LSU jersey and such. He is a big supporter of youth football programs across the country and such, so I see no harm in him going to the meeting.

Except that some State Troopers made a few calls, and Snoop's bus was stopped in Texas on the way from B.R. and several members of the group were popped with reefer.

Either way, I dont get the big deal that is made over this. Snoop was in town doing a concert. He wants to meet the coach from the NC team so he shows up at a Rotary meeting. Snoop doesnt have what you would consider family like music but is it really that big of deal? I understand when the sports world is slow things like this get attention but is it really worth talking about?
