I don’t even agree with that at all.

New Zealand has been under glorified house arrest for six months as an isolated island nation and even they have active cases. And the minute they open up everything full stop, it’s going to spread just like it does everywhere else.

The only way to stop this virus from spreading everywhere is to literally put everyone in perpetual house arrest and destroy the global economy permanently, or at least until a vaccine comes out of the sort that can eradicate the virus.

There is a lot of hubris with this idea that we had any type of long term control over this once it escaped Wuhan.
