Every single one of those quarterbacks played within an offensive philosophy that kept them from excelling. Myles doesn’t.

Lee and Jefferson took us to a title game too.

We said all offseason that we can’t compare Myles to Burrow. That if Myles just had 60% of Burrows production then the offense would be just fine. Well he’s on pace for that number and here everyone is comparing him to Burrow.

I’m not comparing him to Burrow. But I watched the game and despite his numbers he did not play very well.

Had he really played well he would have had well over 400 yards passing, at least one more TD and we would have won.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to be objective and admit that he looked lost, scared and indecisive....and that is not good for a QB.

Yet Myles still showed a lack of composure in the pocket, made numerous bad reads, panicked because of those bad reads & made several inaccurate throws with an offensive scheme/plan designed for him to excel in. That's the big difference & why so many are already worried.

Those of us who actually have studied & followed the game of football closely for a very long time, understand that those issues are not very good to have for a quarterback to have especially for a guy like Brennan who has more than enough mental preparation for his first career start.

Yes. Which makes Brennan’s troubles all the more worrisome.
