Beach restaurants are open. We ate oysters and lobsters on the beach at a seafood restaurant. Several other restaurants were open also. We took a private boat from Cancun, so where you were might have been closed?
Diving is still amazing also. I much prefer coral and fish to that sunken statuary and car.
