Give Lee some credit - he was a freshman that was thrown to the wolves in a system that was notoriously bad at developing QB's. I don't think he ever really recovered from that, nor did Les' system do anything to try and help him develop (or even put him into a situation to succeed).
I have no doubt that, given time and a better situation, Lee would have been a MUCH better QB. He had the physical tools, but was developmentally handicapped (as a QB) by the situation and the system he found himself in.
