Photo finish IMO.

Think Canada. Pelini still has time to fix things.

Going to the future real quick to find out. Be back shortly

it's canada. I don't think O actually knew what he did, he just knew it was a name the fanbase recognized. and i mean that 100% sincerely.

Too early to say. Let's see how the defense plays when Stingley gets back.

You sir are an Idiot that has probably never played a snap of football.

Canada. If O wanted a pass-oriented spread attack, that hire made no sense

One game is not a proper measure. Give it a few more games . The dude needs a reality check though . It’s not 2007 football being played in the SEC anymore.

If the back 7 hadn't played like absolute dog shite in coverage that would have been a whole different performance.
Yes, we were missing the best DB in the country. Yes, practices were lost in the spring. Yes, the D lacked the advantage of crowd noise. Yes, we lost an arse frick load of talent to the NFL.
But...
Since when is bump & run or man-man a foreign concept at LSU? I saw technique by DBs that was terrible; in one instance a DB standing flatfooted and neither hips or feet even twitched much less moved until WR was past him.
The front 7 did good Cox and Gaye are frigging stars. DL did a good job not letting them establish a new LoS and was disruptive. Costello was pressured, hit, or sacked regularly. It was just too easy for him to get the ball out to a wide open receiver who then proceeded to get 10-20 yards YAC.
So we terrorized the QB, had 4 turnovers, and did a good job on the run. If I stop there it sounds like a hell of a good game. Except that QB just happened to have over 600 yds passing.
Based on everything above, if take objectively or in a vacuum... we should be giving Raymond shite and not Pelini.
ETA: The D cost us that game yesterday, not Brennan. The offense was inconsistent, but every time they made a play/drive/score the D turned around and fricked up.

Pelini x 2 . There was a reason he was coaching at where ever making 300k a year and it wasn’t bc he was the best out there to get

Pelini, hands down. At the time LSU hired Matt Canada, he was widely considered to be a brilliant young offensive mind. Pelini, on the other hand, is a washed up retread who has a history of being difficult to work with. We had no idea how Canada would work out, but many of us had a bad feeling about the Pelini rehire.

At least Pellini had a pedigree. Canada was trash from the Get-go.
