I think that they are about right, considering the quarterback question. The road schedule is a bitch, though. All this team would need is for a few of the younger guys to step up and over achieve on the road. That and for whoever starts at QB to limit turnovers and play with poise.
I believe that this team is a potential SEC champ. But several players are going to have to learn on the fly and become veterans before that murderer's row of an SEC schedule.
LSU just might surprise many of the naysayers that don't even have them taking the West. As far as the lines on both sides of the ball, I think that they will be exceptional. They can build on just that as the season progresses. Having a good offensive and defensive lines, IMHO, can allow a team some room for errors.
Offensively, the only question in my mind is QB and this question mark has been beat to death by everyone else. There will be too many weapons on that squad not to put up some big numbers this year.
Other than that, I guess some young guys are going to have to prove themselves in the defensive backfield. I believe that they will.
Does anyone know whether or not LSU will be using that punt formation that so many on here disparaged last year? Any idea who will be returning kickoffs and punts?
