We have never been to the area. This is our first trip. When i started looking at what was there I was scratching my head. Like why is there a Titanic Museum here? I would think with as much money has gone into that area from tourism, more diverse food choices would be available.
Similar to what you see on the gulf coast. Yea they have your common tourist places, but there is also some really good restaurants as well.
Yeah, Titanic Museum, Ripley's Believe it Not, Hatfield & McCoy "interactive" dinner, Guinness world records museum, wax museums, miniature golf, Margaritaville...it's a conglomerate of the Gulf Coast and lower end attractions that you'd find in Las Vegas. They are making money though...sigh...it could just be so, so, so much more...
Nevertheless, some spots I'd recommend: The Greenbrier, Delauders BBQ, Local Goat, Crystelle Creek, Wild Plum Tea Room
