Thought a neighbor confirmed that they heard the police knock and identify themselves?

Just a theory but at that late hour most people would be in their bedrooms (at the back of their apartments), thus closer to Taylor and Walker than to police officers outside the front door.

I don't think the police have to wait for Taylor to open the door. Just watching shows like cops and livepd you have one cop knock while the battering ram is swinging. Sometimes they knock and wait.

I didn't hear today how long it was before the knock to forced entry.
