If Libertarians care so much about personal freedoms then maybe they should start caring about border security.

Open borders are the ideal immigration policy in a libertarian world with no federal entitlement programs, no income taxes, no minimum wage laws, etc, but we do not live in that world. Open borders with a welfare state is a recipe for collapse. We must have hard borders until we can successfully dismantle our welfare state and overhaul our tax system.
