The young pitchers who have no beef with owners and are playing for their baseball lives are a thorn in the side of the vets

If they keep it up, the vets will have to suck it up on a bigger stage unnecessarily

Who knows? Maybe pride kicks in and they actually give a shite when forced to

There shouldn’t be doubt in anyone’s mind that the previously paid players mumble amongst themselves that they are ready for this to end

And honestly, could you blame them? They had to deal with the sign-stealing shite, losing their manager and GM and getting a new manager who barely has a pulse.

On top of that, you lose your Cy Young pitcher and Rookie of the Year for the year and almost everyone else of consequence has been hurt at some point.

And what is the final prize for grinding it out and winning it all? A trophy that means you were the lucky team to get hot in the crap-shoot that is the 2020 playoffs. Nobody will take this year's champion seriously, no matter who it is.

I can honestly see why these guys want this shite to end, if that is indeed their mindset--which I think it is.
