How much rest do you give your shoulders?

Starting to get back into working out, but my shoulders feel like they’re 100 years old and I’m trying to figure out how to come up with a workout routine that allows my shoulders enough rest between days.
When I was younger, I had no problem doing back one day, then shoulders or chest the very next day. Now, I feel like that’s too much of a strain on my shoulders, and I need to give them a day to rest (since I put strain on my shoulders for back, chest, and obviously shoulder days).
Anyone else have this dilemma? Any tips?

Another issue with structuring a new weekly routine, is that I like to give several days of rest between back day and leg day. Since I deadlift on back day and do heavy squats on legs day, I try to space them out 3/4 days apart.
This, coupled with wanting to rest my shoulders thoroughly, I’m finding there aren’t enough days in the weeks to get the routine in I’d like

After a few weeks, you will get back in the swing of things and you won't even notice.

May be you just started working out with your shoulders. Soon you will get used to it and you wouldn't have much issue with it.
However It prefer one day rest to allow my body get recovered from the pain.

I’m told nandrolone will help immensely with any kind of joint pain due to its ability to lubricate. Just a FYI

I do full body Monday through Friday, but I do focus more on one body part each day. Something like heavy legs on Monday, light on Tuesday and Wednesday, heavy again on Thursday. It helps me keep improving without feeling the need to hammer a body part every other day.

Right now I’m actually doing a push, pull, legs split, but that makes it even worse

Some weeks, plenty of rest, others not much.
It could be something specific that you will never shake. It depends on age, supplements, etc.
Is it typical soreness? Joint pain?
