IIRC Kendell Beckwith was a high school QB. Played DE as well. It's the best athlete on the team theory. Imagine being a 2A CB and Beckwith running right at you.

You are correct but he didn't play QB because he wanted to. He played at a small rural program and they needed him to play offense and specifically QB. Heck IIRC he threw for 400+ on ZHS but we still managed to beat them.

Kaleb Eulls was a high school qb then later went on to play DT for Mississippi state and a few nfl teams.

My old high school played Beckwith in the playoffs.... It started off well then they moved him from End to MLB and he just made play after play and ended it with a Qb keeper for about 60 to win it... Heartbreaking
