That was a glorious game and I don't even like BYU - that's how much people hated Miami.
Only comparable opening game is when Arizona State whipped preseason #1 and two-time defending National Champ Nebraska 19-0.
Nebraska averaged like 50 points a game the previous year and couldn't score a fricking point. It was glorious.
It would be like if UCLA shutout Bama or Clemson.

Just looked it up. That was Nebraska’s second game. They crushed Michigan State in the opener. ASU knocked off Washington and North Texas before playing NU.
