Maybe they could hurry this up and take Halo back from 343.

Is this a good or bad thing? MS funds can't hurt.

I have never played or viewed a Halo game played IRL.

My only experience with the franchise is the animated film.

Good IMO.

I liked 343 Halos enough, but they're nowhere close to how good Bungie Halos were.

It could also help Destiny keep going with more games. It seems like the Bungie team is overworked and under-resourced. With more resources the situation could improve.

Bungie's Halo through Halo 3 are thought of as classics, whereas the series seems to be on it's last legs now.

Everyone my age and here talks about Halo2 being their "gaming moment", the point when they feel in love with gaming.

I was one of the only kids into gaming in my neighborhood (mainly just PC), then the ones who did have consoles, we all had PlayStations and would just play NCAA.

Feel like I really missed out on a big part of gaming.

Halo 2 has one of the best story campaigns of any game ever. There's a movie grade cinematic on youtube.

Multiplayer was unrivaled. I don't want to think about how much of my life I spent on that.

Halo 3 was probably more hyped because it was on the next gen system but there's no doubt Halo 2 knocked it out of the park. The story with Arbiter, flood etc, the online multiplayer. Absolutely game changing piece of software

Xbox Live on the OG XBox was a lot of console players intro into online competitive gaming. I cant tell you how many all nighters my college buddies and I spent playing Unreal Championship, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six 3, Splinter Cell PT, Crimson Skies, Counter Strike and Halo 2 was the zenith.

I definitely regret not getting an Xbox for Halo and Halo 2.

I play the MCC a ton, but I get my arse kicked on multiplayer. I have too much responsibility in life now to worry about it. I didn't back in the Xbox/PS2 days.

It basically invented XBL. The H2 online experience was truly one of a kind.
