Breonna is someone who was tragically killed, and the situation is truly tragic. She's not someone who "if she complied she would be alive".

From the cops pov, they performed a legal warrant. They were shot at, so they shot back. There's nothing illegal there.

From Breonna and her boyfriend's pov, they're awaken in the middle of the night by folks breaking into their apartment. Most citizens in that case would use their firearm in that instance

All I can say is that no-knock raids should be a thing of the past. There's zero reason to perform those dangerous tactics just to search for fricking drugs. Some states have already taken action, so that's good. That's the only justice that can truly happen from this case

Very well stated.

I believe no knocks should be reserved for very special circumstances, not to perform a search on someone who could be marginally involved in a drug ring.

Unfortunately, many in this country believe the officers should be arrested and charged with murder.
