I went Baltimore. Felt they were the safest possible pick. In my mind they had returning players at key positions which meant the weird pre-season didn't hurt them as much as other teams. It may put me at a disadvantage down the road for picking them so early but hey, I get to pick week 2.

Absolutely. Week 1 is not the time to get cute. You have to go with a heavy chalk.

“Saving” teams never works
You are going to have to pick 16 correct winners no matter what, so at some point you are gonna have to take a chance or be a little different to survive no matter how you play it, so for the tougher decisions I’d rather push them off towards the end of the year when there’s way more information about the mediocre-bad teams
